  • Kannappa Forgings is a major player in closed die forgings. We forge anything and everything in the range of 0.20 kg to 25.0 kgs in Closed Die Forgings and up to 40 Kgs in Open Die Forgings
  • Kannappa Forging has the necessary equipment’s and technology to cater to the needs of its customers.
  • Kannappa Forgings has battery of three hammers with capacities ranging from ¾ T to 2.0 T
  • Kannappa Forgings has two Mechanical Type Screw Presses with ranging 150T and 200 T
  • The selection of press or hammer is decided by our engineering team after analysing the production feasibility and economic viability.
  • KF produces wide variety of components in the weight range of 200 grams to 25 kilo grams for Automotive and Oil & Gas industries.
  • Production is monitored using state of the art online production monitoring system. Periodic maintenance is carried out on a systematic manner to continuously improve the availability and productivity of the production lines.
  • Our forging lines are supported by various types of billets cutting equipment’s which include saw cutting machines, shearing machines and high-speed shearing machines.
  • Raw material bars of input sections from 20mm diameter to 110mm diameter can be cut to accurate lengths and weights as required.
  • KF has implemented ERP based system for FIFO of material from incoming storage to dispatch. This provides end to end traceability of the components.
